Social Butterfly

This was a wonderful week.  On Friday, Dad won his first trial which was great because he was able to finally spend the weekend with his family.  It was a good thing, because Charlie had lots of friends to see.  On Saturday, we traveled to a local watering hole to meet up with Mommy's work friends and their babies Thomas and Graeme.  We enjoyed the afternoon being entertained by the young ones while both awake and asleep.  On Sunday, we had an amazing brunch with Jeff and Rachel and walked through Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill.  Later, we celebrated Josh and Marcie's engagement at their apartment.  Even though the party was for Josh and Marcie, Charlie still managed to steal the show and made lots of new friends.

Getting to know the Lazari!

This week, Charlie had a spectacular time showing Grandpa Bill and Grandma Iris around Brooklyn. We explored DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Caroll Gardens, Cobble Hill and of course Park Slope where Charlie showed off his knowledge of the local cuisine and introduced Grandma and Grandpa to many of his neighborhood friends. Charlie also showed off how much he can do including playing with all his toys and talking up a storm. Charlie can't wait to go down to Tampa for Thanksgiving!

Kind of a Slow Week

Not much going on this week at the Rosenzweig household. Daddy has his first trial this week and had to work, so Mom and Charlie got extra bonding time. Auntie Mel came over for brunch on Sunday and caught up on all Charlie's exploits. Later we watched the final of the World Cup, which was not nearly as interesting to Charlie as Mom's wacky dancing! We also wish congratulations to Josh and Marcie on their engagement.

The Summer's getting Hot!

On a weekend where the temperature soared over 95 degrees, Charlie found ways to enjoy the weather with great friends who came from far and wide to see him. Charlie had a reunion with Jude, one of his oldest friends from Mom's group. Jude and Charlie enjoyed playing with each other and taking turns sleeping and crying. It was so helpful to chat with Hayley and Eric (Jude's parents) regarding everything from doctors to the best toys. Daddy had to work on Saturday, but Mommy and Charlie came into the City and met up with old friends. Afterward, we walked home over the Brooklyn Bridge. On Monday, we took Charlie with us to gather signatures to get on the ballot for the Democratic County Committee. Despite being so busy, Charlie had time to ham it up for the camera and take some of his best pics to date. Enjoy!

July 4th Celebration

On July 4th, we joined several of our neighbors on the roof-deck of our apartment building for a great party. Charlie got a chance to see his friend baby Jude who is growing so fast. Our 3 year old neighbor Lily helped Daddy feed Charlie, but it wasn't enough to keep Charlie awake for the big fireworks show over the Hudson. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time enjoying the great show and wonderful company. Park Slope truly is the best neighborhood in the City for young families like ours!
